Marketing and Promotion, though frequently managed separately, fit together as the two main methods of trying to ensure the maximum success and sales of a recording.

In reality there are no hard and fast rules in Marketing and Promotion. It is one of the most important areas of our business and consequently we have to be very creative. Cost effective, maximum exposure in the right mix of media is key to the success of every new release.

Obviously different media are used to reach different target audiences. Today there are a huge number of marketing tools available, more than ever before, including many more radio and TV stations, magazines and the Internet. The evidence of Marketing and Promotion is all around us.

Once a single or album has been accepted for release and the release date agreed, Marketing and Promotion come into play.
