Inventory Management

Inventory Management is responsible for supporting Sales, Marketing and Distribution by managing stock levels across all catalogues and for all formats. In conjunction with Marketing, Inventory Management is responsible for determining initial manufacturing quantity and ensuring the stock is delivered on time for release date. After the initial order Inventory Management monitor sales figures and places stock orders reflecting the impact of Marketing and Sales promotional activities. They are required to hold stock levels sufficient to meet immediate demand and avoid overstocks once the life of the release has died.
