It is crucial to supplying information more quickly and more precisely to allow the business to react to potential commercial opportunities. Above all the IT function, through the development and implementation of business systems, supports the efficient running of all parts of the organisation from individual record labels through to the Finance and Administration departments. Current IT projects involve working closely with the New Media department to use Internet enabled technologies to support artist product development and to communicate directly with retailers, consumers and the media across the Internet.
