Marketing

Marketing's role is to advise and suggest ideas for the visual side of the release. They work with the artist management and A&R to commission the packaging design and decide the method of promoting the release to the public, as well as deciding which media types would be best suited to market the product. The Video, Radio and TV Promotions and Press departments all come under the marketing umbrella, and work together with the artist's management to ensure the strategy for the release is carried out. The overall responsibility of the Marketing department is to ensure that the artist/band gets noticed in the right places and in the right way.
